Welcome back, Santasiero’s! Santasiero’s Restaurant is a legendary Buffalo West-Side institution, and having them reopened after being closed for over a year is a massive win for the neighborhood! We came in with a large group, and the place was completely packed. There were a few expected reopening growing pains—some confusion around our reservation, the kitchen got understandably backed up, and food was auctioned at the table rather than distributed by seat position—but honestly, nobody cared because the conviviality and atmosphere were electric. It is fantastic to see this historic part of Buffalo’s West Side overflowing with life again. And most importantly, the food is worth every second of the wait—their iconic red sauce ('gravy') is perfection, and the meatballs, sausages, and chicken parm are the stuff of dreams. Do not miss this gem, relax, go with the flow, have a great time w/ people you love and don’t forget you can take sauce to go by the QUART! When I lived in Buffalo briefly in the 90’s my Pops and I used to enjoy lunches here. My Pops is long gone but the meatballs remain. Thanks Santasiero’s- can’t wait to come back!

I am SO HAPPY we’re back!!! This restaurant holds so many memories for me and I am impressed with the renovations (even though I kinda miss that wood paneling). Happy to report that the sauce recipe has indeed been handed off to the new ownership, it’s delish! The service was a little slow but very friendly - it’s only about a month in and it was (thankfully) very busy because we have all missed it. Thank you! I can’t wait for my next meal!

A 40 year customer.!The pasta fagioli was the same incredible dish!!! Service was fantastic. They did a great job remodeling the interior. So friendly & welcoming. Bringing more family back.

We had a long wait, but it was worth it. The house salads were huge, the bread was fresh, and our pasta was delicious. I've never seen our granddaughter eat like that! The dining room was a bit hectic because it was small, but our sweet server, and the owners, were aware of the crowd, and worked to move them along. The server even brought us some gelato on the house. Prices are fair, and portions are ample. If there's a wait, it may be best to wait in your vehicle, since there is no real waiting area.

Everything is all beautifully remodeled, the staff is super friendly, and the food was delicious! I got the chicken parm with an extra side of meatballs and my coworker got the meatball bomber. We'll be back again!
